What is an Affiliate Program? Affiliate Programs are a way for blogs and website owners to earn a commission by embedding links for products sold by another company.
When you join The Food Photography Book Affiliate Program, you will receive a unique code which you can link to text and images on your blog. Every time someone clicks on that link, it will take them to the sales page of The Food Photography Book. If they purchase the book, you will receive a commission of 50%.
How much will I be paid? You will be paid 50% of the sales price. Currently the sales price of The Food Photography Book is US$29 which means for each sale, you will receive US$14.50.
When will I be paid? You will be paid by the 14th of the end of each calendar month. So for sales in June, you will be paid by the 14th of July.
How will I be paid? The money will be deposited into your Paypal account. You will be prompted to provide your Paypal account email when you join the Affiliate Program in E-junkie?
Do I need a Paypal account? Yes you do. You can get one for free here.
What is E-junkie? E-junkie is the company I use to sell my ebooks. It is a world renowned e-commerce platform so you can be confident that it is safe, secure and will calculate the commissions you are entitled to accurately!
What if someone does not buy the book straight away? That’s ok! You will still get a commission as long as the sale occurs within 6 months!
How is that possible to track someone’s visit for 6 months? Technology is an amazing thing! When someone clicks on your link, a cookie is generated to track where the link came from. So if that person purchases the book within 6 months, the cookie will remember that it came from your link so you are entitled to the commission.
