OVERVIEW:
Not going to lie. This will not be a job for everyone. It’s a big job. One in a million. One in 30 million!
And it’s unique. One moment you’ll be getting my diary in order. The next minute, you’ll be trying to find Dozer’s tux, helping me with a photography “crisis”, or leading the charge for a fundraiser lunch whilst also keeping on top of our business emails and the several hundred reader emails we get each day.
On top of this, you’ll be harassed to taste test new kitchen creations multiple times a day, have cake forced upon you the moment you walk in the door, be sent out to Cabramatta to find an obscure Vietnamese herb for a dish I’m busting to try, or pick up an emergency order for sashimi – because OMG they have o-toro today at our favourite sashimi place, we can’t miss out!


Tomorrow, we might need you to lend a helping hand at our food bank, RecipeTin Meals, then the day after might be a team day you organised. Maybe a day at the race track, go-karting, or a food tour of Marrickville!

POSITION DESCRIPTION
Provide high-level executive support, managing my diary, personal affairs, work events, and travel matters, including bookings and appointments
Act as a liaison, assisting with managing my internal team, and external stakeholders, ensuring the smooth flow of communication and gatekeeping to maximise my time
Assist with the planning and organising of events and related initiatives. Travel and work outside of standard business hours and locations may be required
Seize the variety of tasks and errands associated with this hands-on role, with the adaptability to turn on a pin to support me with whatever is needed, whether it’s a photoshoot or finding me a new home (yes really!)
Coordinate with multiple employees and become the proactive, go-to person for every task whilst working closely with me to maintain an organised and efficient home office environment
