Homemade ranch is so much better than the bottled stuff, you can actually taste the herbs and spices in it!I'll go to the trouble of using fresh herbs for company, but for everyday purposes I use dried herbs (I've provided both options). Use as a dressing for salads or a dipping sauce for wings, wedges, veggie sticks, crumbed chicken tenders etc.Makes 1 1/2 cups, enough to dress a big salad for 5 - 6 people. For a no-mayo version, see my Greek Yogurt Ranch Dressing.

Notes
1. Buttermilk - Substitute with a 1:2 mix of yogurt and regular milk which will be just about the same thickness and is very similar in flavour too.Though if you get a carton of buttermilk especially for this recipe, use leftovers for Choc Chip or Blueberry Muffins!Leftovers will keep for up to 5 days though with each day, the fresh flavour of the herbs will fade.Nutrition per serving assuming 6 servings.
