Another Christmas, Another Dodgy Selfie

Wishing you and your family a Merry Christmas from Down Under!!!

RecipeTin Eats Christmas - Nagi and Dozer

Just like last year, it was 2 days before Christmas when I realised I didn’t have a Christmas photo and found myself scrambling to take a last minute picture so I could send out Happy Holiday wishes.

And just like last year, I found myself gripping Dozer in a chokehold, forcing him to look at the camera in an attempt to capture a half decent Christmas-cheery portrait of us. Dozer attempting to flee at every opportunity, me grabbing him by his tail, pulling him back, dragging him into position, scrabbling to put his hat back on as the camera self timer started flashing….

Many, many takes later, the best of the bunch:

2016 Christmas Portrait – Dozer looking seriously unimpressed as I forced him to look at the camera.

2017 Photoshoot – Dozer desperately trying to escape….

….then spying the roast Chook I popped on the edge of the pool by the iPhone in an attempt to bribe him into co-operating….

…then finally, getting a passable shot. Ignoring the expression on Dozer’s face.

Christmas photo – (semi) done.

Now – time for some FUN!

Merry Christmas!

I absolutely love the new website, there are so many recipes to choose from it is mind boggling.
Every recipe of yours that I try comes out really good and I am systematically working through as many as I can.
I show my Golden (Murphy) the pictures of Dozer and he wags his tail and barks. I don’t know what that means but I am pretty sure it’s a good thing.

Merry Christmas (a little late) from SNOWY Washington State! We had a white Christmas! As rare as hen’s teeth around here. I think the last one was in 2008! Love your pics! Dozer, you might want to remember all those goodies you get all year and be more cooperative with your mom! LOL The two of you are so cute together! Best. Blog. Ever. !!!!

Nagi and Dozer – Merry Christmas!

Nagi, you have a gorgeous smile and beautiful eyes that crinkle when you laugh. You are delightful to read, and you are an inspiration! With your help, I’m actually starting to enjoy cooking. My family thanks you too!

Give Dozer a big hug for me. Thank you, Nagi, for everything you do. You actually make the world a better place.

Awe…I love all of them. My pooch is afraid of the camera so he always looks like something from a horror movie. Great for Halloween not so much for any other occasion.
Marry Christmas Nagi and Dozer. Sending best wishes from Ohio!

    Hi Nagi,
Thank you for ALL the wonderful recipes you brought us during 2017 and the “Life of Dozer”, he’s such a lovely boy. Hope you had as much of a wonderful day as our family did and I made your Trifle to take to our daughters for lunch as well as hubbies usual with 3 kg prawns (he had to shell the lot himself as I hate doing it).
As for 2018 I’m sure looking forward to whatever you bring to our table as it’s sure to be fantastic as usual.
Merry Christmas and a Happy Prosperous New Year in 2018 to you, Dozer and all your family.
    Love, Josephine B.
