Dozer v

SURPRISE! I’ve signed a contract for a RecipeTin cookbook! But this won’t be just another cookbook……This is going to be a cookbook filled with new recipes YOU ask for.

Let’s make this cookbook OURS!

RecipeTin Eats Cookbook Announcement

PS That’s just a mock cover!!

Finally – a cookbook!

This is real – a RecipeTin cookbook is happening! I’m committed – I can’t back out, I’ve signed a publishing contract with Pan Macmillan, a big name publishing house here in Australia.

Excited, nervous, daunted, scared…. all these words come to mind as I sit here, preparing myself for what will be the the most important and biggest project I have ever undertaken in my professional life.

Which brings me to the main purpose of sharing this news….

I want to make this cookbook WITH you, FOR you!

Let’s fill these pages with recipes YOU want! Mostly new, but even some favourites from the website!

RecipeTin Eats Cookbook Announcement

I’m going to be completely honest with you. I am under no illusion about how much work it will take to make a cookbook.

So for me to make this cookbook for myself, because, well, you know, it is kind of an ego boost to see your name on a printed book. That’s not enough motivation for me. I don’t deserve it! 😂

If, on the other hand, I make it for you…….. now THAT is what I call motivation. That gets me excited. That is what will give me the incentive to give this cookbook everything I’ve got, to make it the best it can be.

I want to make a cookbook that you will actually use all the time, rather than gathering dust on the bookshelf.

So tell me what you want in our cookbook! What type of recipes, even little details like adding nutrition information, storage and make ahead tips, or key dietary notes (like gluten free).

They will mostly be new recipes that are exclusively made for the cookbook though I will also include some long standing reader favourites from the website!

Let’s make this cookbook together. Leave your cookbook wish list in the comments section below!!

– Nagi x

PS Reminder – this cover is a fake!! 😂 You know full well I am going to ask for your opinion when choosing the real cover. ❤️

Life of Dozer

I know today’s big announcement is all about me, me, me. But that’s no excuse to skip a Dozer update! Here he is, disrespecting my cookbook already. Or possibly just thinks the photo is real food. It could be either. 🙄

Dozer sniffing RecipeTin Eats cookbook mock up

Though he has already expressed he is willing and able to help in any way possible with the cookbook. Thanks Dozer! We all know what your “help” involves….

    Hi Nagi
We recently went on a ski trip and up on the mountain we had the most delicious gourmet hotdogs, would you mind adding a recipe like this to your website. Thanks Warwick

Hi Nagi- I look forward to your cookbook. If I may suggest one thing- could you please consider including whether a recipe is suitable to freeze. I find it really convenient to have yummy meals in the freezer at times. Thank you, and good luck with it. How exciting for you!!❤️

Your recipes are awesome and have changed my (cooking) life. I’ve made so many now and never had a dud and while trudging around at work ( in an underground mine) I think about what recipe I will tackle on my days off. My, and families favourites are beef bourguignon, chicken shawarma and only today I made sausage rolls for friends and they loved them. You’re website is the first on every search I do cause I’m always looking at it and to say it’s an inspiration to cook great food is an understatement. Love the link to the Chinese recipe website too. Keep up the good work and can’t wait for the book. Thanks to you and Dozer for your amazing website 👍

I love your recipes, I love the fact that they are quick and easy enough to make for weeknight dinners. I hope your cookbook is like that too. I have enough cookbooks that are full of delicious food but are not user friendly when it comes 5pm and you are looking in the cupboard for dinner inspiration. That is what I loooove about your recipe. Btw your butter chicken is the best I’ve ever had!

Hi Nagi!! Is there a mailing list we can join to be notified when the cookbook is ready for order?

Alternatively, can we pre-order it to ensure we don’t miss out?

Hope you’re enjoying your evening and staying warm!

I’m not normally into fawning on people but I must admit to slavering a bit when I see a new recipe from you. I look forward to buying your book eventually and I hope it includes how to make zucchini interesting – it’s supposed to be good for you but I find it normally boring.

He eats a food that I make myself – it’s a mix of veggies and oily fish and rice – he loves it! (Plus everything that ever falls off a table around here!) N x

Please include more Mediterranean Baked Chicken Dinner. Please revise the cooking instructions, it takes much, much longer than you say. And reading the feedbacks, this is a common comment.

Hi, I’m from China. Although I don’t know English, it doesn’t affect me to get delicious food with Google translation. I like your recipe! I dare not expect to have a Chinese cookbook, so I will study English hard to understand it. Although it will be more convenient for me to read online, I still hope to collect this book around me. Thank you for your efforts!

Oh Nagi, I am just so proud of you! I know whatever you put in your new Cookbook will be great. I have been following along for about 3 years even though I have only posted a few times on your site. I love seeing Dozer, too. I have made so many of your recipes and I appreciate you answering so many of people’s questions, and read most of them and usually find the answers to my questions, maybe that’s why you don’t hear from me personally and I can’t wait for your Cookbook. It would be great to see you do a signing here in the states. Let me know!?!

I love when a recipe adds a “freezes” note – Whether it freezes well or not and for how long and best way to reheat-Really glad you’re back

I am doing that on most of my recipes going forward, as well as the cookbook ones. Some of my older recipes don’t have it but as we revise and re-edit them I will try to add it! N x
