SURPRISE! I’ve signed a contract for a RecipeTin cookbook! But this won’t be just another cookbook……This is going to be a cookbook filled with new recipes YOU ask for.
Let’s make this cookbook OURS!
PS That’s just a mock cover!!
Finally – a cookbook!
This is real – a RecipeTin cookbook is happening! I’m committed – I can’t back out, I’ve signed a publishing contract with Pan Macmillan, a big name publishing house here in Australia.
Excited, nervous, daunted, scared…. all these words come to mind as I sit here, preparing myself for what will be the the most important and biggest project I have ever undertaken in my professional life.
Which brings me to the main purpose of sharing this news….
I want to make this cookbook WITH you, FOR you!
Let’s fill these pages with recipes YOU want! Mostly new, but even some favourites from the website!
I’m going to be completely honest with you. I am under no illusion about how much work it will take to make a cookbook.
So for me to make this cookbook for myself, because, well, you know, it is kind of an ego boost to see your name on a printed book. That’s not enough motivation for me. I don’t deserve it! 😂
If, on the other hand, I make it for you…….. now THAT is what I call motivation. That gets me excited. That is what will give me the incentive to give this cookbook everything I’ve got, to make it the best it can be.
I want to make a cookbook that you will actually use all the time, rather than gathering dust on the bookshelf.
So tell me what you want in our cookbook! What type of recipes, even little details like adding nutrition information, storage and make ahead tips, or key dietary notes (like gluten free).
They will mostly be new recipes that are exclusively made for the cookbook though I will also include some long standing reader favourites from the website!
Let’s make this cookbook together. Leave your cookbook wish list in the comments section below!!
– Nagi x
PS Reminder – this cover is a fake!! 😂 You know full well I am going to ask for your opinion when choosing the real cover. ❤️
Life of Dozer
I know today’s big announcement is all about me, me, me. But that’s no excuse to skip a Dozer update! Here he is, disrespecting my cookbook already. Or possibly just thinks the photo is real food. It could be either. 🙄
Though he has already expressed he is willing and able to help in any way possible with the cookbook. Thanks Dozer! We all know what your “help” involves….

So excited to hear about your cook book Nagi. I know you have done some ebooks, but to get my hands on a real book full of your wonderful recipes will be great . I love all your stuff. Especially your Greek lasagna and no kneed bread 🤗 Every recipe turns out so well ♥️

Such an exciting project, can’t wait for the finish product. Would love to see slow cooked dishes and tray bakes, anything that enhances flavours and requires minimal effort. Also maybe a budget meal section. Best of luck with it all,
Robyn says
Hi Nagi
A section on sauces and marinades and more vegetarian. I enjoyed your information on knives and appliances and think it would be good to
Include in your cook book as well.
Can’t wait to buy it.

I love all your recipes! Would love if you could include your Vietnamese Chicken Pho soup. It’s so good and was such a hit when I made it for my friends.

Would love you to include storage/freezability info.
Also easy complete menus …Chinese, Thai, etc
Love the recipes!
Thanks, and good luck with the book. Will it be available on Kindle? Space is an issue!

Absolutely love your recipies. Please add some of your spicy chicken recipies like enchiladas, love chilli recipies too. Not found a better focaccia recipe anywhere. All so easy to follow. Live in uk so appreciate your notes for substitutions.

Oh my goodness I am so excited!!!! Can I pre-order 10 copies? Your recipes are AMAZING and I’m not sure my family would survive without them 😆. I would love to see all of your curries and middle eastern meals. In addition, Korean chicken, rusty nails, dumplings from all cultures…..anything and everything you cook. ❤️😋❤️😋❤️

Fabulous news Nagi. Congrats.
I would love to see different sections, Please do a couple of fine dining recipes which may be more complicated, can be broken down, then would love to see a few low carb/keto, a couple of vegan and veg, and of course some unusual chicken recipes, pork and beef, Peking duck pancakes, as well as your normal fast straight forward recipes, another section could be easy, fast and fabulous. Also deserts, would love some show stopping deserts. I don’t care which recipes as I know they are absolutely guaranteed to be top notch tasting, fully doable and will present well.

Your spaghetti marinara is the bomb – must be included!
(and fried rice)
Rose says
Well done you! It will be a great success for sure.
I run a high school canteen where peanuts are banned so I would love a satay recipe without peanuts if possible. I would also love some inspiration for sandwich fillings and hot and cold wraps

Spaetzle, laksa, tagines, yummy salads! Your recipes have encouraged me to cook way more types of cuisines so definitely international foods. Can your mum do a Japanese chapter?!
Scott Lambert says
Nagi, I have been informed by my daughters that you need to include your outstanding chicken tikka recipe please. 🙏🙏🙏
Joanita Cronje says
Easy peasy-select recipes for the working person-whether from home or not, easy, quick, minimum AFGORDABLE and everyday ingredients-basically our favpurite “go to recipes” but with a Nagi twist. Also some more “advanced” for the days we feel more inspired and want to hang out, with absent friends. I think a good surprisr alsl will be some Dozer friendly recipes-he IS Nagi and should have himself honoured, shatd the secfet treats you make for him-lots of your fans have also their own four legged child, and he will be only too happy to be a guinea pig. Cannot wait! You are a legend-just hope will be able to get my hands on a copy across the ocean to SA! Happy cooking and THANK YOU for your excellent recipes and inspiration. I alsp cook for people and my biggest challenge is to not include starch for those wanting to shed all the lockdown excess-a royal pain, but relevant.

Dinner party meals that are themed. From start to finish. Or the plan/menu in back part of book ? And you need Dozer on the cover !
Sam says
Totally agree! Menu suggestions, for weeknights or dinner parties for example, would be fantastic!

I love all your notes and substitutions. I’d like to see some healthy weekday meals. We usually select your more complicated recipes as something fun to do on the weekend (especially with lockdown) but would like to expand my go to easy meals that are also not terrible for me
