A special gift for my readers – my Asian Takeout recipe book!!
🎉🎉🎉HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!🎉🎉🎉
And….
SURPRISE!!
A late Christmas present / Happy New Year gift for my readers – my Asian Takeout eCookbook!
A couple of months ago, I put up a vote for the theme for the next free eCookbook. Oh bugger, wait a sec. I just checked….and it was waaaay more than a couple of months ago, it was back in August when I put the vote up.
Let me start again.
Thank you for your patience while I put the e-cookbook together!! 😂 The long awaited next free e-cookbook is here – ta da!!!! A free e-cookbook jam packed with Asian Takeout recipes, 42 of them to be exact. 🙂 All your favourites, from Fried Rice to Spring Rolls/Egg Rolls, Laksa to Chow Mein and Pad See Ew, neatly packaged up in one handy dandy e-Cookbook!
The recipes in the cookbook are on my website, but it’s nice to have them collated in one e-Cookbook, don’t you think? 🙂 Some of the recipes are a bit summarised (I’ve been told that I can ramble on sometimes and there’s no room for that in a cookbook! 😂) so if you want the full details, notes and for many of them, a recipe video, just pop over here to read the full recipe. 🙂
Why am I giving away a free e-cookbook??
I offer free e-cookbooks as a thank you when people join my email list. Joining my email list is entirely free, it just means that you get an email from me when I publish a new recipe.
You’d be surprised (or maybe not!) how many suspicious emails I get from people before they join my email list, thinking I’m offering the free e-cookbooks to trick them into some kind of payment or scam. I actually can’t say I blame them, in this day and age where internet scams are a genuine risk.
From my perspective, it’s as simple as this:
I make a living from this website. I have no other source of income, I’m pretty much the opposite of a trust-fund baby. 😂
The income I earn is generated mostly from digital ads which you see displayed on my website. And the amount of ad revenue I earn is predominantly driven by how many people visit my website.
And thus we come to the heart of why I offer free e-cookbooks for people to join my email list – to grow my readership by encouraging new readers and more importantly, as a gesture of appreciation to my current readers. For reading, for trying my recipes, sharing your feedback and thoughts, proofreading (yes you do!), giving me inspiration, for making me laugh and sometimes even making me cry, for sharing my recipes on social media, with your family and friends.
RecipeTin Eats is what it is because of you, and this Asian Takeout eCookbook is just a little thank you gift. 🙂
How to get the free recipe book
Once you have the links, here’s a Step-by-Step Guide for how to download the recipe books.
Already on my email list
If you are already on my email list (ie you receive emails from me when I publish new recipes), then the link to download the Asian Takeout e-Cookbook is in today’s email that should be in your inbox. If you’ve misplaced the email or can’t find the link, don’t worry! I’ll provide the link to get the Asian Takeout recipe book right at the top of the next few emails I send.
PLUS, a link to download the Asian Takeout recipe book along with the other 2 free recipe books Fast Prep, Big Flavours (2016) and 15 Minute Meals (2015) will be in every email you receive from me from hereon. It looks like this (just scroll halfway down the email):
New Readers (or wanting to rejoin!)
If you’re a new reader, then just join my email list (which is free, always will be, is 100% no strings attached!!) and you’ll receive an email to download the Asian Takeout e-Cookbook along with the other two free e-Cookbooks! This is the confirmation email you will receive – just click the links to get the eCookbooks.
If you’ve got a question about any of the recipes in the Asian Takeout eCookbook, then just pop over to RecipeTin Eats and leave the question on the relevant recipe, then you’ll get a notification when I respond to your question – just like with all my other recipes!
Though…. I must confess…..I have been taking a bit of a break and am a wee bit behind responding to messages….
I’m officially back on the job tomorrow! So if you’re pending a response to a question, please be patient – I have half a day blocked out tomorrow just to respond to messages.
I hope you enjoy the Asian Takeout eCookbook!! And Happy New Year!! ~ Nagi xx

Hello Nagi!
Happy new year to you, Dozer and your family!
I would love to start cooking Asian food. I do have some recipes, some stir fry dishes, but I want more.
My husband lived for many years in Hawaii and he loves the Asian food there.
Thank you for offering this book! I’m looking forward to reading it!

Hi sweet lady. I just love your blog you’re the first one that I applied to because I really don’t get into anything online. I’m over 70 and I’ve been doing this cooking thing forever. You have given some very interesting ideas. I love your passion and you’re puppy is so adorable. Sounds like you’re doing exactly what you want to do.you are blessed and loved! Your new friend from the states.

Happy 2018 to you and DOZER!!!
And, thank you so much for the cookbook! You never cease to amaze! I live far away from Australia, way up in Northern New York State, and I don’t understand all of the nuances of social media and blogs, etc., but Nagi — you really should have your own television show. Not the kind where people shout at one another, not that silly kind of cooking show, but a real cooking show with real recipes. If you had a cooking show, it would be right up there with Martha Stewart. That’s my New Year’s wish for you and Dozer, he’d have to be on the show too!
Can’t wait to try out the recipes!
Nagi says
You made me LAUGH Nadine!!! “Not the kind where people shout at one another, not that silly kind of cooking show,” <---- How right you are, this is what they are all like nowadays, aren't they??? WHERE ARE THE SHOWS WITH NORMAL GREAT FOOD???!!! PS If I ever EVER have a show, Dozer is a must. Goes without saying. 😂
lindsay Cotter says
well done Nagi! I am so gonna be making some of these! <3

Thank you so much for another amazing cookbook! I wish you did sell these in bookstores so I could buy them and put them on my shelf with my other beloved cookbooks (and give them as gifts!); the recipes are amazing and the photography is beautiful (seriously, taking pictures of food and making it look delicious is HARD!). I wish I could support you by more than just being an avid reader and sharing your blog with my friends and family. It’s been a fabulous two years making the delicious recipes that pop into my inbox and I’m sooooo looking forward to trying all of the new recipes that come my way in 2018! A very Happy New Year to you and yours! (Especially Dozer!)
Cheers!

Nagi,
I’m a newby to computers and blogging (Istarted late, I’m 72). I’ve tried to click the links for your e-recipe books but the cursor arrow doesn’t turn into a hand. So I’m unable to download anything. Can you help?
Nagi says
Hi Pamela! It does take time to appear and also sometimes there are so many people trying to get it that it might be too crowded! But don’t worry I will keep sending out links in the new recipe emails, you won’t miss out! N x
Jo Lawrence says
Hi Nagi! I’m afraid I’m in the same boat as the others. I had downloaded 2 of the cookbooks successfully, but when I went to get the 15 mins cookbook, the link has gone and now I don’t know how to access it again.
I’m a newby to your blog, but I’m loving what I see already. I have just made the mango ice cream and cannot wait for it to be set, as it tasted amazing even before putting in freezer!!
Jo
Nagi says
Hi Jo! No problems, I will send out links to all 3 in the next new recipe email that goes out tomorrow! Sorry about the problem but I can’t put the link up here! N x
Pat says
The links to the cookbooks appear to be dead. When I click, nothing happens.
Nagi says
Hi Pat! They are definitely there, I just checked. They can take time to load, but don’t worry, I will keep sending out fresh new links with new recipe emails that go out for the next few weeks! N x
Pat says
Got it!. It worked when I viewed the email in my browser rather than in Outlook.
Many thanks for doing this. I know I’m going to enjoy making these recipes.

Your recipes are fabulous and are always a hit at our place. Happy New Year to you Nagi.
Having trouble getting the link for the new Asian cookbook to work 🙁

Hi Nagi, hope that you and your family have a happy and prosperous new year. Thank you for the wonderful recipes that you have posted; I have not tried every one, however every one that appeals to me I do print out and it joins the pile of other recipes you have generously provided.
Like several of your other readers, I am unable to access your cookbooks. I was lazy when I first joined and did not get the first two that were offered with the email subscription and now I cannot get any of them. I am technologically challenged anyway, so if you could offer a step-by-step instruction on exactly how I can download the e-cookbooks, I would be very grateful. Clicking on the links does not work. I use Firefox as my browser with MacAfee antiviral software. Your help would be very much appreciated.
Btw, your gourmet crackers were great. I have already made five batches, four to give away as holiday presents and one just for us. I accessed the original Trader Joe’s Copycat recipe, just because I generally like to compare and combine, and really wanted a much more pumpkin flavor for batch #5, so we put the remainder of a 15 oz can into the recipe, which was about 2/3 Cup. Added chopped pecans and more spices yet neglected to increase the dry ingredients to compensate for the extra wetness caused by the pumpkin. Well, the little devil baked up fine, even though it sunk in several places, and we sliced it completely frozen, using my husband’s meat slicer. A real pain in the tuchas because they were very thin (my request) and many fell apart. But we glued them back together, baked them for some longer and they were FANTASTIC. Leaving out the turmeric helped a lot with that powdery flavor we had with the first four batches and we used a mortar and pestle to more finely grind the spices (especially the dried rosemary and thyme). Since this batch was for my family, it didn’t matter to us what the problems were, we simply wanted a tasty cracker to spread goat cheese and brie upon. Next time, which may be fairly soon because those little beauties went fast on new year’s eve, I guess that I’ll increase the two flours, unless you have a better idea. We do not get pumpkin after Thanksgiving here in southwestern Missouri, why this is, I don’t know, but I told my husband that we will be planting pumpkin in our garden this coming spring because there are so many lovely recipes using it. My husband dislikes all squashes with the exception of pumpkin.
Sorry for the length of this “comment” and I hope that you and Dozer are getting a rest after the flurry of the holidays. Our family loves your recipes! Loves loves loves Dozer and the great pictures you take of him which are so evocative and seem to capture his personality very well. Again, thank you for everything you have provided us during the last year and HOW DO I ACCESS THOSE COOKBOOKS???
Nagi says
