It’s not often we have the luxury of being asked – what do you want?
And while I imagine in many situations, that’s a loaded question for a list of unrealistic demands, in the world of RecipeTin Eats, it is somewhat more viable for me to deliver!
The list of recipe and food related ideas I have is long and never ending. New ideas get added every day, things get scratched off as I try and dismiss them. Only the very best, the ones I deem “blog worthy” (yep, that’s a technical term 😂) make it on my website.
The problem is, the number of blog-worthy dishes is very, very long. And there is only so much ground that one girl and her dog can cover.
Thus, I turn to you to ask –
Tell me what you want for 2021!
Or, what do you not want? You can ask for anything! Here are some ideas:
More greens, less meat
More fish!
Work lunch ideas
More Dozer (🤞🏼!)
Dietary specific recipes – low cal / low carb
Freezer friendly recipes
Complete menus – where I share starter/main/sides/dessert like this Arabian Nights Feast I did many years ago (and still rather popular to this day!)
Slow cooker recipes – the “set and forget” sort
I obviously cannot promise to give you absolutely everything you ask for. But I can promise that I will read every response, and what you say will shape the direction of RecipeTin Eats in 2021.
So, talk to me!! – Nagi x
PS Still taking dish specific requests on this page! This is a perpetual list that I use for inspiration, and sometimes I can provide links to recipes from other sources (if I’ve tried them) so you don’t have to wait for me!
PPS Just one thing I can’t deliver on –
🚫🍌 NO BANANA. The only “normal” food I can’t stand, a childhood hangover from all those years my mother would jam a banana in my lunchbox and there it would sit, festering in the Aussie summer heat (pre cooler-bag days) and the banana smell with infuse into everything in the lunchbox. Ever had a banana infused ham sandwich? Not good, my friends. Not good. 🤢
I find it thoroughly amusing that my mother is the master of bento box lunches but failed to even consider the most basic fundamentals of putting together a sandwich lunchbox.
And thus, I am scarred for life. No bananas!😇 (Blame mum)
Life of Dozer
Launching into 2021, Dozer style:
And PS, wow, what a response to the Interview With Dozer!! Trust Dozer to close out 2020 with the single most commented on post of the year. Stealing my thunder – and I totally love it. 🥰

I’d like to see some more satisfying vege and vegan dishes. I’m not a vegetarian nor a vegan but I am trying to eat more meatless dishes over the week.
That and more Asian dishes. I can never eat too much Asian food so keep the Japanese, Thai, Indian, Vietnamese, etc, etc coming as well Nagi.
Happy New Year from the frozen wilds of Vikingland!

Hi Nagi, my husband and I love your recipes so much. We lost our beautiful 2 and 1/2 year old St. Bernard in June 2020. His name was Leo. Watching you and Dozer makes us feel happy. My husband asked for a beautiful beef casserole recipe. Could you help. I’m not on Facebook or Twitter or I could send a photo of Leo. Thanks so much.

Hi Nagi
It would be great if you could plan some simple recipes for air fryer cooking.

A search function based on tags would be good…
We often need to cook vegan meals, but unfortunately I can’t search “vegan” and get the recipes that qualify, though many do!
(For instance the lentil curry and lentil soup are big winners.)
Love your work Nagi!

I would love to see quick meals, under 30mins (for the average cook not chef), with minimal ingredients. Something quick and healthy for the family after I’ve been working all day. And more Dozer. Thanks.

Hello Nagi and Dozer, During our hot summer I would love to see what I call tray cooking. These are easily prepared and cooked. Also do you have any ideas for air fryer cooking. Thank you for the meal inspirations.

Hi Nagi.
I love your recipes & great care you take in explaining and compiling them with as much information as possible. We bought an Airfryer last year and have to say, we are in love! Are you ‘anti’ airfryer? If so, I understand. Airfrying isn’t for everyone. But, in case your willing to experiment with some recipes I would love to see what you come up with.

Quick desserts!!! I’m always finishing my dinner and craving something sugary but low effort/quickish. I am both lazy and hungry most of the time 🤣

Sorry, wanted to add that I have never been a fan of food videos embedded in recipes, but recently have embraced your video edits and have found them a great compliment to your recipes! Thanks

Nagi, you are my most trusted food blogger and my first port of call for new recipes now. I know that if I want a trusted recipe for anything from lamingtons to curry, you have it and it will be good! All the classics and then some.
So what I would like to see you do, more than anything, is a recipe book 😉
