More to come! Lots, lots, lots more…. – Nagi x
Request a recipe!
I spend an inordinate amount of time deciding which recipes to share.
My biggest problem is that there are so many recipes I want to share, things that get me doing the jiggy because it’s so good but then before I dash off to film and photograph the recipe, I pause and think – will my readers get excited about this too?? Will they really go and try this?
It’s always interesting when I publish a new recipe to see how many people read it. After 4 years of blogging (that’s middle aged in Internet terms!), you’d think I’d be able to get it right 100% of the time.
And mostly, I can.
I knew you’d love the Sticky Honey Mustard Drumsticks and go bonkers over the Pad Thai and Tikka Masala. I didn’t expect you’d be clamouring for the Quiche Lorraine or Avocado Dip, and I guessed right. 🙂
But other times, you surprise me! I did not expect such an amazing response to the Homemade Pastrami from last Friday, nor that the Garlic Butter Kale Rice would become such a firm favourite!
And after all those hours of contemplating what recipes I think you want, it finally dawned on me: Why don’t I ask you??
DUH!
And so, here we are. Finally – because it took me so ridiculously to arrive at this point – FINALLY I’m asking you:
WHAT RECIPES DO YOU WANT ME TO SHARE?
Drop your requests in the comments section below!
Be as specific or as general as you want. I just ask 2 simple things:
-
Please do a quick little Search to see if I’ve already shared it!
-
No banana anything! It’s the only normal thing I can’t stand. Awful, smelly, slimy things that they are!?
{UPDATE: Scroll to the top for a list of requested recipes that I have published!}
I obviously can’t promise that I’ll share every recipe requested, being that I’m just one person who does need to sleep on occasion! But I’ll certainly share the most requested ones, and I’ll regularly pop back here when I’m planning my recipe calendar.
LIFE OF DOZER
Hairdresser appointments are always extremely productive – I get my highlights and make recipe videos. Dozer gets his pats.

Hi Nagi! I’d love to see a Moo Shu (Chinese) or a Mi Krop (Thai) recipe. I always see people eating them in US tv shows and I’d love to try them! Also, I see you have lots of American fans so maybe they would be interested too!

Could you recreate my son’s favourite comfort food – Chicken Noodle Soup / Salt reduced from the Continental Soup packet variety. Specifically a mix we can make that replaces buying the packets and will reduce packaging waste. Thanks
sue says
Hey Louise, you can make Nagi’s chicken soup recipe, freeze leftovers and add pasta when reheating. Strain out any bits he doesn’t like. There’s no comparison to simmered chicken bones.
Louise says
Thanks. I will try it however I think he is after the convenience and exact flavour profile of the fake stuff.

I would love some interesting recipes using cauliflower. I hope you can help!

Hi Nagi,
This is Thisaly! I last commented on your Christmas selfie post in 2021, but I’ve been using your recipes so much lately, on these school holidays that I wanted to talk to you again!!
Thank you for all the recipe inspiration and beautifully clear instructions. It makes trying out new foods super easy and I’ve learnt so many ways to make food taste better!! My family is from Sri Lanka, coincidentally, that’s one of the cuisines I haven’t yet tackled. I love Sri Lankan food, it’s so fragrant and spicy and just about attacks your taste buds! I think a Sri Lankan recipe would be super nice. My suggestion would be mallu ambulthiyal, which is a really delicious sour fish curry made out of any white fish fillets. It would be quite accessible to Recipetin readers, other than maybe the goraka. Devilled potatoes, or alla thel dalla is really nice too. It’s my family’s Christmas special, especially good with rice and a meat-based curry. That does have any hard-to-find ingredients. Hope you consider my ideas!! Have a lovely Easter if you celebrate it. 😊💕

Hi Nagi,
Would you do a “copy cat” recipe for Whisk n Pin’s Fig, Macadamia Nut and Ginger Cookies please?
They are fabulous, and my local deli is always running out of stock when I want to buy them. Because they are sooo popular!
Many thanks.
Nagi says
I’ve never tried them!!! Are they widely available??
jane says
Erskineville Deli, David Jones and IGA Martin Place are closest to me. On the Northern Beaches I understand Harris Farm Mona Vale stocks Whisk n Pin products.
