More to come! Lots, lots, lots more…. – Nagi x
Request a recipe!
I spend an inordinate amount of time deciding which recipes to share.
My biggest problem is that there are so many recipes I want to share, things that get me doing the jiggy because it’s so good but then before I dash off to film and photograph the recipe, I pause and think – will my readers get excited about this too?? Will they really go and try this?
It’s always interesting when I publish a new recipe to see how many people read it. After 4 years of blogging (that’s middle aged in Internet terms!), you’d think I’d be able to get it right 100% of the time.
And mostly, I can.
I knew you’d love the Sticky Honey Mustard Drumsticks and go bonkers over the Pad Thai and Tikka Masala. I didn’t expect you’d be clamouring for the Quiche Lorraine or Avocado Dip, and I guessed right. 🙂
But other times, you surprise me! I did not expect such an amazing response to the Homemade Pastrami from last Friday, nor that the Garlic Butter Kale Rice would become such a firm favourite!
And after all those hours of contemplating what recipes I think you want, it finally dawned on me: Why don’t I ask you??
DUH!
And so, here we are. Finally – because it took me so ridiculously to arrive at this point – FINALLY I’m asking you:
WHAT RECIPES DO YOU WANT ME TO SHARE?
Drop your requests in the comments section below!
Be as specific or as general as you want. I just ask 2 simple things:
-
Please do a quick little Search to see if I’ve already shared it!
-
No banana anything! It’s the only normal thing I can’t stand. Awful, smelly, slimy things that they are!?
{UPDATE: Scroll to the top for a list of requested recipes that I have published!}
I obviously can’t promise that I’ll share every recipe requested, being that I’m just one person who does need to sleep on occasion! But I’ll certainly share the most requested ones, and I’ll regularly pop back here when I’m planning my recipe calendar.
LIFE OF DOZER
Hairdresser appointments are always extremely productive – I get my highlights and make recipe videos. Dozer gets his pats.

With your love of all things “meatball” I was surprised not to find Vietnamese Pork Balls. In my opinion the best street food ever. I have tried several different recipes and can never get the texture of the meat or the stickiness of the sauce quite right. If anyone can do it I think you can 😉.
Nagi says
Gah! I don’t have Viet pork balls?? Added to list!

I would love a pumpkin pie recipe please!

Hi there! I came tonight browsing for new side dish ideas – specifically for summer. Is there something from another cuisine that may be the next ‘it’ thing? I can only stomach so much orzo and cherry tomato’s ☺️ I hope you may have some ideas.

Hi Nagi,
love your recipes and tried a lot, now I was looking for a recipe to make icecream, thought I read it somewhere but cannot find it anymore. If I was right you used condensed milk and cream in it , no icemaker. Please was I right that I read it in one of your recipes a few weeks ago?? Thanks in advance 🙂

Hi, Nagi. First let me say, I love your recipes. Your method for making crispy chicken wings is inspired. I am looking for something else entirely. Last year we were on a Scenic river cruise. One day the chef prepared something called an Australian meat pie (it was really a casserole). It was somewhat similar to a cottage or shepherd’s pie but subtly different. I thought it was fantastic. Have you ever come across it?

Nagi, Your pork dumpling recipe today made me think of one of my favorite pork dishes, a proper British pork pie which I enjoyed visiting London about 40 years ago. I’m not sure that since the big companies got involved the pork pies are the same over there anymore. However I began thinking and I realized a pork pie is it to remain in a crosse your pork dumpling recipe today made me think of one of my favorite pork dishes, a proper British pork pie which I enjoyed visiting London about 40 years ago. I’m not sure that since the big companies got involved the pork pies are the same over there anymore. However I begin thinking and I realized a pork pie is basically a terrine baked in a crust. I would welcome any terrine Recipe but especially one for a meat pie.

Tsukemen! Please, I need a good recipe! I went to Japan for the first time earlier this year and had some delicious tsukemen with thicker dipping sauce than standard ramen broth consistency, and since I have got back to Brisbane the only one I have been able to find in restaurants was very thin. I have googled recipes but nothing looks right.
Nagi says
Passing this over to mum!!!

Hi Nagi,
With the terribly cold weather in Melbourne, can you please give chicken and dumplings a go?
I’ve seen this recipe from Laura Vitale and I would love to try and make it.
You have a flare for making international dishes with Australian products and I love it 🙂
Here the link for Laura Vitale’s Chicken and Dumpling Soup 🙂

Have a lovely weekend 🙂

Hi Jasmine! Just checked out the recipe – use Vegeta in place of the poultry seasoning, start with 1 tsp and work up as required, even adding right at the end. Heavy cream is our thickened cream. Everything else is “normal” Aussie speak!! I will definitely share a chicken and dumplings recipe one of these days – been ages since I made it!

I have been looking for a good Beef & Black Bean Sauce recipe – using fermented Black Beans not supermarket sauce
