It’s not often we have the luxury of being asked – what do you want?
And while I imagine in many situations, that’s a loaded question for a list of unrealistic demands, in the world of RecipeTin Eats, it is somewhat more viable for me to deliver!
The list of recipe and food related ideas I have is long and never ending. New ideas get added every day, things get scratched off as I try and dismiss them. Only the very best, the ones I deem “blog worthy” (yep, that’s a technical term 😂) make it on my website.
The problem is, the number of blog-worthy dishes is very, very long. And there is only so much ground that one girl and her dog can cover.
Thus, I turn to you to ask –
Tell me what you want for 2021!
Or, what do you not want? You can ask for anything! Here are some ideas:
More greens, less meat
More fish!
Work lunch ideas
More Dozer (🤞🏼!)
Dietary specific recipes – low cal / low carb
Freezer friendly recipes
Complete menus – where I share starter/main/sides/dessert like this Arabian Nights Feast I did many years ago (and still rather popular to this day!)
Slow cooker recipes – the “set and forget” sort
I obviously cannot promise to give you absolutely everything you ask for. But I can promise that I will read every response, and what you say will shape the direction of RecipeTin Eats in 2021.
So, talk to me!! – Nagi x
PS Still taking dish specific requests on this page! This is a perpetual list that I use for inspiration, and sometimes I can provide links to recipes from other sources (if I’ve tried them) so you don’t have to wait for me!
PPS Just one thing I can’t deliver on –
🚫🍌 NO BANANA. The only “normal” food I can’t stand, a childhood hangover from all those years my mother would jam a banana in my lunchbox and there it would sit, festering in the Aussie summer heat (pre cooler-bag days) and the banana smell with infuse into everything in the lunchbox. Ever had a banana infused ham sandwich? Not good, my friends. Not good. 🤢
I find it thoroughly amusing that my mother is the master of bento box lunches but failed to even consider the most basic fundamentals of putting together a sandwich lunchbox.
And thus, I am scarred for life. No bananas!😇 (Blame mum)
Life of Dozer
Launching into 2021, Dozer style:
And PS, wow, what a response to the Interview With Dozer!! Trust Dozer to close out 2020 with the single most commented on post of the year. Stealing my thunder – and I totally love it. 🥰
Debi Tucker says
I am single and I would love to see easy recipes for one or two or recipes that can be divided easily

Would love to get some advice on how to meal prep for a weeks (or two’s) worth of lunches that are not boring (chicken breast, broccoli and brown rice rice) and healthy (enough)! 💪🏼🍝 🌈
Chris says
I needed a recipe for Corned Beef the other day and unfortunately I could not find one here and had to go to another recipe website! So a recipe for Corned Beef would be great thanks Nagi.

I loved your cheese log recipe so much! So did the friends I made it for, and my Nan is in love with it. I just wished I lived closer to make it for her more option (she is hiding it from her visitors).
I would love more cheese recipes from you, especially while it’s still entertaining season up here in QLD. I’m also in love with the crackers recipe and trialling different options on that.
Please keep doing what you’re doing, I love your recipes x
Nagi says
Ooh yes!! You mean cheese dip / spread time recipes for entertaining, like cheese balls? I had a giant cheese ball on my list for this summer. 🙂 N x
beebee says
I would love a vegan cake or cheesecake recipe! x
Nagi says
It’s so hard, without using unusual ingredients! I did make a really good vegan cake during Lockdown – it was naturally vegan. I have it on my list to share already. It’s a chocolate layer cake!! N x

Nagi says
I love this list Nel, thank you for taking the time! I have meal planing on my list – it’s the logistics of how to do it that I’m struggling with re: serving sizes, switch outs etc 🙂 N x

I would love more low cal and low carb recipes that look and taste amazing!
RHP says
Hi,
I love your quick meals and one pot recipes as they work really well with my long work hours. (Added bonus if the leftovers can be easily used for lunch the next day).
All your recipes have been amazing and gone down a hit. I have been singing your praises to family and friends ever since I found your website.
Thank you.
Nagi says
Gosh, this is coming up a lot!! Must get on it! 🙂 N x

I’d love to see more complete memus-love the Arabian feast! Thanks so much.
Liz says
I know it’s not your thing but keto or low carb or sugar free please.
Nagi says
I actually have a number of low carb and keto recipes, I just don’t classify them as such because it’s not – as you say – my thing! I will at least start a recipe collection for them so it’s easy for you to find. 🙂 N x
Kat says
Love the slow cooker idea – for summer and winter dishes! I’d also love a Basics Done Well series – everything everyone should know how to cook, done properly.
Reading your post I just realised why you’ve never published a banana bread recipe 😂
Sarah says
Ooh yes, would like to second this!
Nagi says
I’m so glad you mentioned Basics Done Well! I also really like the name 🙂 PS I know, not having banana bread sort of kills me because so many people ask for it. But I can’t. I even made one but I just couldn’t eat it. I had to get it out of my house immediately.
Kuppy Podeu says
Just refer banana lovers to Bill Grangers’s Choc Banana Bread recipe. It’s a winner.
Jade says
My first vote is for freezer friendly, mainly due to covid – can’t get to the shops? Raid the freezer! ☺️
Nagi says
YES! I am so overdue on this. I will move it up my list 🙂 N x
Jo-Ann O'Brien says
Would love more complete menu ideas! Banquets, dinner parties, the whole spread!
Nagi says
I’m so glad you said that! I love doing those 🙂 Big cook days, always stressful getting it all done in one day – but I love it!! N x
