It’s not often we have the luxury of being asked – what do you want?
And while I imagine in many situations, that’s a loaded question for a list of unrealistic demands, in the world of RecipeTin Eats, it is somewhat more viable for me to deliver!
The list of recipe and food related ideas I have is long and never ending. New ideas get added every day, things get scratched off as I try and dismiss them. Only the very best, the ones I deem “blog worthy” (yep, that’s a technical term 😂) make it on my website.
The problem is, the number of blog-worthy dishes is very, very long. And there is only so much ground that one girl and her dog can cover.
Thus, I turn to you to ask –
Tell me what you want for 2021!
Or, what do you not want? You can ask for anything! Here are some ideas:
More greens, less meat
More fish!
Work lunch ideas
More Dozer (🤞🏼!)
Dietary specific recipes – low cal / low carb
Freezer friendly recipes
Complete menus – where I share starter/main/sides/dessert like this Arabian Nights Feast I did many years ago (and still rather popular to this day!)
Slow cooker recipes – the “set and forget” sort
I obviously cannot promise to give you absolutely everything you ask for. But I can promise that I will read every response, and what you say will shape the direction of RecipeTin Eats in 2021.
So, talk to me!! – Nagi x
PS Still taking dish specific requests on this page! This is a perpetual list that I use for inspiration, and sometimes I can provide links to recipes from other sources (if I’ve tried them) so you don’t have to wait for me!
PPS Just one thing I can’t deliver on –
🚫🍌 NO BANANA. The only “normal” food I can’t stand, a childhood hangover from all those years my mother would jam a banana in my lunchbox and there it would sit, festering in the Aussie summer heat (pre cooler-bag days) and the banana smell with infuse into everything in the lunchbox. Ever had a banana infused ham sandwich? Not good, my friends. Not good. 🤢
I find it thoroughly amusing that my mother is the master of bento box lunches but failed to even consider the most basic fundamentals of putting together a sandwich lunchbox.
And thus, I am scarred for life. No bananas!😇 (Blame mum)
Life of Dozer
Launching into 2021, Dozer style:
And PS, wow, what a response to the Interview With Dozer!! Trust Dozer to close out 2020 with the single most commented on post of the year. Stealing my thunder – and I totally love it. 🥰

Definitely a weekly meal plan! I spend so much time trawling through all your amazing recipes and can never decide what to cook. If you sent it to me, that’s one less decision I have to make each day. Plus it might make me try new recipes I haven’t cooked yet.

That’s a great idea!

Love to learn more Asian cooking techniques. That you do so naturally without a second thought. How to buy and use Tofu as it’s a total mystery to me. So many different types. How about doing fav recipes of things you’ve eaten in specific countries, and how you recreated them. Set menus. Your love passion your favourite style of cooking . Your desert island recipes only 5 allowed. How you take your amazing pictures what you use to take them.

Hi Nagi,
I’d love the best beef pie with a thick sauce. I’ve tried the one in your recipes but it’s more of a stew.
Also love quick, easy and healthy recipes after a long day at work.
Hope you are well!

I’d love a Hungarian chicken paprika recipe!
Every recipe I’ve tried of yours has been amazing – so totally puts me off other recipes lol.
A version where they could be made with chicken thighs or chicken breast would be AMAZING!
Happy cooking everything else if this can’t be done.
Love your site!!

Hi there Nagi,
Absolutely loving your website! Over the last month I’ve been cooking at least 4 meals per week from your page! Really loving it!
I’d love 1 or 2 more younger child friendly meals that are still tasty for adults.
I cooked the chicken and risoni pasta, Greek chicken gyros, garlic butter rice with kale, carrot salad, oven baked chicken. All huge hits with my 4yo twin sons.
More of the same along that line without the spicy! Any chance to sneak veggies.
Love the confidence your page brings to cooking from online recipes – not one single recipe has let me down. Amazing! Thanks again.

Happy New Year Nagi!!
You just have come to my absolute rescue. I have gained a few too many kilos the last few months. And I am cooking weekly for my retired aunt and uncle. After fresh, flavourful low carb or calories meals, dinners, that won’t hurt my wallet. Thank you ☺️

My favourite restaurant (clovelly @maritime Warrnambool) use to make an amazing creamy chilli prawn linguine. I would love to cook this. Cooking salt and pepper squid also seems to elude me

I would love more veggie recipes if possible please! I’m OBSESSED with all of your recipes, I can’t even tell you how much you’ve helped me improve my cooking skills. I love everything I’ve tried, but I’m trying to eat a little less meat (save the planet and all that) so I’d really like a few more veggie options! Thanks for everything you do Nagi 🙂

More savoury recipes involving seasonal and easy to access ingredients. One pot wonders for camp cooking also appreciated

I would love a lemon slice/tart recipe that can be fully prepared ahead and can be transported 2 hours in my car (yes, with ice bricks in a cooler bag if needed), and not suffer in any way or need any additional work at the destination!

Hi Nagi, I would love some yummy sodium-free recipes that don’t up the potassium to make up for it. Neither chemical is good for my kidneys. xxx
