It’s not often we have the luxury of being asked – what do you want?
And while I imagine in many situations, that’s a loaded question for a list of unrealistic demands, in the world of RecipeTin Eats, it is somewhat more viable for me to deliver!
The list of recipe and food related ideas I have is long and never ending. New ideas get added every day, things get scratched off as I try and dismiss them. Only the very best, the ones I deem “blog worthy” (yep, that’s a technical term 😂) make it on my website.
The problem is, the number of blog-worthy dishes is very, very long. And there is only so much ground that one girl and her dog can cover.
Thus, I turn to you to ask –
Tell me what you want for 2021!
Or, what do you not want? You can ask for anything! Here are some ideas:
More greens, less meat
More fish!
Work lunch ideas
More Dozer (🤞🏼!)
Dietary specific recipes – low cal / low carb
Freezer friendly recipes
Complete menus – where I share starter/main/sides/dessert like this Arabian Nights Feast I did many years ago (and still rather popular to this day!)
Slow cooker recipes – the “set and forget” sort
I obviously cannot promise to give you absolutely everything you ask for. But I can promise that I will read every response, and what you say will shape the direction of RecipeTin Eats in 2021.
So, talk to me!! – Nagi x
PS Still taking dish specific requests on this page! This is a perpetual list that I use for inspiration, and sometimes I can provide links to recipes from other sources (if I’ve tried them) so you don’t have to wait for me!
PPS Just one thing I can’t deliver on –
🚫🍌 NO BANANA. The only “normal” food I can’t stand, a childhood hangover from all those years my mother would jam a banana in my lunchbox and there it would sit, festering in the Aussie summer heat (pre cooler-bag days) and the banana smell with infuse into everything in the lunchbox. Ever had a banana infused ham sandwich? Not good, my friends. Not good. 🤢
I find it thoroughly amusing that my mother is the master of bento box lunches but failed to even consider the most basic fundamentals of putting together a sandwich lunchbox.
And thus, I am scarred for life. No bananas!😇 (Blame mum)
Life of Dozer
Launching into 2021, Dozer style:
And PS, wow, what a response to the Interview With Dozer!! Trust Dozer to close out 2020 with the single most commented on post of the year. Stealing my thunder – and I totally love it. 🥰

So glad you’re out of strict lockdown. I’d like to see more quickish vegetarian meals and main meal salads – and of course more Dozer who might be the luckiest dog in the world!

Hi Nagi, I love your site and I cook most of your recipes for my family although I don’t eat meat.
I would love to see some great recipes with kimchi as they are so hard to find.
I went to school with a girl called Doris and every day she had a banana sandwich 🤮🤮 by the time lunch came it would be black and oozing 😭 she always wanted to sit next to me and I could say no…. this defined my hatred for bananas for the next fifty five years of my life.
Thank you for your beautiful recipes and extra large hug for Dozer

Hi Nagi, thank you for all the wonderful recipes you share. I’m in the UK in national lockdown and mid-winter, helping with homeschooling grandchildren. So I’m going to ask you for the impossible! Food that’s healthy but comforting for cold days.
We are eating less meat and carbs to try to slow the weight gain. Slow cooker recipes welcome. Thanks again, Sue.

I love your recipes. You are the best food blogger. Your recipes are easy to follow. Once I made them I am so impressed with my self, I can’t believe I have actually made that food. I would like more vegetarian but tasty dishes . Thank you

Hey Nagi, glad you guys up there on the Northern Beaches are out of quarantine at last – what a tough time for it to happen.
I’d love to see more wicked curries like two of my favourite of your recipes: the lamb rogan josh and the eggplant curry. So some more “out of the ordinary” curries would go down well over here in Crows Nest! Or how about an authentic malaysian chicken curry? AFAIK you don’t have one of those yet.
Virginia Malone says
I know your recipes are very easy to adapt but some aimed at cooking for one would be most welcome.
Louise says

More Dozer too 😉

I’d love to see more vegetarian meals although the meaty meals have been a lifesaver for me as my boys eat them and I’m a veggie! So it might be nice to make something veggie just for me! Love your work Nagi!
