It’s not often we have the luxury of being asked – what do you want?
And while I imagine in many situations, that’s a loaded question for a list of unrealistic demands, in the world of RecipeTin Eats, it is somewhat more viable for me to deliver!
The list of recipe and food related ideas I have is long and never ending. New ideas get added every day, things get scratched off as I try and dismiss them. Only the very best, the ones I deem “blog worthy” (yep, that’s a technical term 😂) make it on my website.
The problem is, the number of blog-worthy dishes is very, very long. And there is only so much ground that one girl and her dog can cover.
Thus, I turn to you to ask –
Tell me what you want for 2021!
Or, what do you not want? You can ask for anything! Here are some ideas:
More greens, less meat
More fish!
Work lunch ideas
More Dozer (🤞🏼!)
Dietary specific recipes – low cal / low carb
Freezer friendly recipes
Complete menus – where I share starter/main/sides/dessert like this Arabian Nights Feast I did many years ago (and still rather popular to this day!)
Slow cooker recipes – the “set and forget” sort
I obviously cannot promise to give you absolutely everything you ask for. But I can promise that I will read every response, and what you say will shape the direction of RecipeTin Eats in 2021.
So, talk to me!! – Nagi x
PS Still taking dish specific requests on this page! This is a perpetual list that I use for inspiration, and sometimes I can provide links to recipes from other sources (if I’ve tried them) so you don’t have to wait for me!
PPS Just one thing I can’t deliver on –
🚫🍌 NO BANANA. The only “normal” food I can’t stand, a childhood hangover from all those years my mother would jam a banana in my lunchbox and there it would sit, festering in the Aussie summer heat (pre cooler-bag days) and the banana smell with infuse into everything in the lunchbox. Ever had a banana infused ham sandwich? Not good, my friends. Not good. 🤢
I find it thoroughly amusing that my mother is the master of bento box lunches but failed to even consider the most basic fundamentals of putting together a sandwich lunchbox.
And thus, I am scarred for life. No bananas!😇 (Blame mum)
Life of Dozer

Hi Nagi,
Love your work and Dozers input is always valuable.

Hi Nagi, I can definitely understand what you have been going through on the Northern Beaches. I live and work in the Whitsundays and had to cancel Christmas plans with my kids who live in Avalon…so sad. I just recently made your brined chicken and it was delicious and my daughter made one of your baked cheesecakes…so yum. I would love to see more chicken recipes as I have the famous Northern Beaches tick allergy to red meat from when I lived there years ago. I would love to be more creative with chicken and salads especially. Thanks for your amazing recipes. Julie

Thank you for a wonderful 2020 of recipes and Dozer! Would love to see some low cal/low-carb recipes, and some one-pan recipes – I know you have a good collection but can never get enough of them. Thank you again – I don’t think I appreciate how much work goes into testing, re-testing, photographing, writing etc recipes that you share – thank you again! 😀 (And Dozer is always great to see!0

Hi Nagi
Not only are you an exceptional cook and teacher, you’re a very witty writer! Your recipes are fool and fail proof, so much so I don’t look anywhere else. I’d like to see you really benefit financially (and publically to the degree you’re comfortable). Sharing your life with Dozer is also such a treat to see. I also really hope that you get wined and dined but also appreciate you’re not biased in favour of specific products. Thanks for being you in all your brilliance! X Cathy

Hi Nagi, huuuuge fan of everything Vietnamese or Malaysion/Indonesian here!! Would love much more of that! However , I am thinking on embarking on a Fast 800 diet,as a result of Covid lockdown and too may snacks and way too much baking, so 800 calorie meals/b’fast/lunches would also be great! No matter what you post, I will make it or watch it!! Thanks for getting us through 2020!!!!
