It’s not often we have the luxury of being asked – what do you want?
And while I imagine in many situations, that’s a loaded question for a list of unrealistic demands, in the world of RecipeTin Eats, it is somewhat more viable for me to deliver!
The list of recipe and food related ideas I have is long and never ending. New ideas get added every day, things get scratched off as I try and dismiss them. Only the very best, the ones I deem “blog worthy” (yep, that’s a technical term 😂) make it on my website.
The problem is, the number of blog-worthy dishes is very, very long. And there is only so much ground that one girl and her dog can cover.
Thus, I turn to you to ask –
Tell me what you want for 2021!
Or, what do you not want? You can ask for anything! Here are some ideas:
More greens, less meat
More fish!
Work lunch ideas
More Dozer (🤞🏼!)
Dietary specific recipes – low cal / low carb
Freezer friendly recipes
Complete menus – where I share starter/main/sides/dessert like this Arabian Nights Feast I did many years ago (and still rather popular to this day!)
Slow cooker recipes – the “set and forget” sort
I obviously cannot promise to give you absolutely everything you ask for. But I can promise that I will read every response, and what you say will shape the direction of RecipeTin Eats in 2021.
So, talk to me!! – Nagi x
PS Still taking dish specific requests on this page! This is a perpetual list that I use for inspiration, and sometimes I can provide links to recipes from other sources (if I’ve tried them) so you don’t have to wait for me!
PPS Just one thing I can’t deliver on –
🚫🍌 NO BANANA. The only “normal” food I can’t stand, a childhood hangover from all those years my mother would jam a banana in my lunchbox and there it would sit, festering in the Aussie summer heat (pre cooler-bag days) and the banana smell with infuse into everything in the lunchbox. Ever had a banana infused ham sandwich? Not good, my friends. Not good. 🤢
I find it thoroughly amusing that my mother is the master of bento box lunches but failed to even consider the most basic fundamentals of putting together a sandwich lunchbox.
And thus, I am scarred for life. No bananas!😇 (Blame mum)
Life of Dozer
Launching into 2021, Dozer style:
And PS, wow, what a response to the Interview With Dozer!! Trust Dozer to close out 2020 with the single most commented on post of the year. Stealing my thunder – and I totally love it. 🥰

Hi Nagi, huge fan. Would love to see desserts that aren’t too too sweet – like the Japanese strawberry sponge cake. Dying to make this at home and I can’t look at other recipes because I’m too used to following how yours are laid out/your UX lol. Thank you!

I also have to work late so really quick meals or recipes that can be prepared the day before and reheated, or frozen would be great – otherwise I have a tendency to just not bother eating. And more of Dozer – he’s a superstar!

Hi Nagi, love your receipts. I’ve just got a Ninja Foodie and have been experimenting with it. I would love to see some pressure cooking recipes as I have no idea how long to leave anything cooking. I haven’t cooked anything of yours that hasn’t been thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. Thank you x

I love one pot wonders- hate the slow cooker. Flavour bomb recipes with only a few ingredients, like your ramen. Some flavour bomb salads with protein which I can also take for lunch the next day, or even meal prep. Work lunches would be great. Pics of Dozer.. “meaty” vego meals. And as we get into autumn and winter – all those yummmo comfort foods that aren’t BLAND. I make so many of your recipes it’s a joke and the recipe swaps with my mates is ridiculous- chef fans all the way
And for the record – I lovvvvvved your top ten must haves

Hi nagi. I would love more batch cooking/freezer friendly. Have you read the ice kitchen by shivi ramoutar? Uk basked cookery author. Great ideas for freezing but would love your twist on it as you also have great flavours.

Hi Nagi, I live in Cape Town, South Africa and my job entails working very late. I’d live some quick and easy recipes so my family don’t end up eating at 10pm every day. Thank you for all the fantastic recipes so far, my families favourite is the one pot chicken with creamy rice.

My sister and I both moved out of home this year and absolutely SWEAR by your recipes – they’re so good, and I love that they use the same ingredients often so I’m not buying 4 million sauces!! I’d love to see healthy work lunch ideas, and also some quick “one pot” recipes – good for late cooking when you’re busy. Thanks so much!!
