More to come! Lots, lots, lots more…. – Nagi x
Request a recipe!
I spend an inordinate amount of time deciding which recipes to share.
My biggest problem is that there are so many recipes I want to share, things that get me doing the jiggy because it’s so good but then before I dash off to film and photograph the recipe, I pause and think – will my readers get excited about this too?? Will they really go and try this?
It’s always interesting when I publish a new recipe to see how many people read it. After 4 years of blogging (that’s middle aged in Internet terms!), you’d think I’d be able to get it right 100% of the time.
And mostly, I can.
I knew you’d love the Sticky Honey Mustard Drumsticks and go bonkers over the Pad Thai and Tikka Masala. I didn’t expect you’d be clamouring for the Quiche Lorraine or Avocado Dip, and I guessed right. 🙂
But other times, you surprise me! I did not expect such an amazing response to the Homemade Pastrami from last Friday, nor that the Garlic Butter Kale Rice would become such a firm favourite!
And after all those hours of contemplating what recipes I think you want, it finally dawned on me: Why don’t I ask you??
DUH!
And so, here we are. Finally – because it took me so ridiculously to arrive at this point – FINALLY I’m asking you:
WHAT RECIPES DO YOU WANT ME TO SHARE?
Drop your requests in the comments section below!
Be as specific or as general as you want. I just ask 2 simple things:
-
Please do a quick little Search to see if I’ve already shared it!
-
No banana anything! It’s the only normal thing I can’t stand. Awful, smelly, slimy things that they are!?
{UPDATE: Scroll to the top for a list of requested recipes that I have published!}
I obviously can’t promise that I’ll share every recipe requested, being that I’m just one person who does need to sleep on occasion! But I’ll certainly share the most requested ones, and I’ll regularly pop back here when I’m planning my recipe calendar.

Hairdresser appointments are always extremely productive – I get my highlights and make recipe videos. Dozer gets his pats.

PLEASE do a recipe for Chinese Hot and Sour Soup. I’ve tried many recipes and they never taste as good as in the restaurant. I know I’m missing something. And I know you can figure out what that “something” is.
I’ve tried several of your recipes (have quite a few more bookmarked, too), and they have all turned our great. Thank YOU!!! Great recipes, great photos, adorable dog. Plus yours is the only food blog that I actually read the narrative–quite interesting, informative, and sometimes humorous. (Now, did I butter you up enough to do the Hot & Sour recipe?!)
Thanks again. Love your blog.

Hi Nagi!
I’m a big fan and recent cooking convert thanks to your queso. I’ve branched out since and have been enjoying cooking. Yay! Could you consider including more Vietnamese dishes? Some ideas would be vermicelli bowls, pho ap Chao (fried wide flat rice noodles that softens as it sits in it’s sauce), mien (glass noodle soup, typically with chicken), etc. Thanks for the consideration.

avid follower of your recipes here. I would love to see, read, prepare and eat your version of Som Tam (a.k.a. bok l’hong, tam som, tam maak hoong, gỏi đu đủ). Hope it can find a spot on your to-do list.
Kind regards from the Netherlands.

Hey Nagi,
I would like to request 2 recipes (greed):
1. Tom Yum soup (is the one without coconut milk the actual authentic one?)
2. Dynamite shrimps. Not sure if you have PF Changs in Australia, but certainly you would have come across it in US. For years people have been trying to replicate the recipe, but no one could hit the bulls eye as yet. I’m obsessed with them. I know you have a knack for all things crispy and the amazing sauces you make with such little ingredients. If anyone can do it its you!
Nagi says
Hi Beenx! I’ve had it and tried to replicate it but wasn’t 100% happy. Now it’s been too long since I had it and can’t exactly remember the flavour, I will try again after the next time I visit the states! N x

Could you share your version of jalapeno rice?
I’m pretty sure it’s Mexican origin and it’s absolutely delicious.
Thanks in advance.
Take care,
Phil.

Hello! I made a recipe from the Cooking Channel last night called Shrimp Stuffed Sweet Potatoes by Bobby Deen. The potato, spinach, garlic, cheese and sour cream were amazingly delicious together and not something I ever thought about doing on my own. The shrimp might not have been needed and the presentation was so messy (sweet potato skins aren’t sturdy enough to stuff like a twice baked russet potato) that I just threw the filling in a casserole dish and baked it. I’m so curious if you could take this recipe and really make it awesome! The flavors are there…thank you!!
